Our Volunteers.

Volunteers are making a big difference at Oak Hill Cemetery.

From the invaluable services of the local building trades to our Boy and Girl scouts, the final resting place for more than 25,000 individuals has been made more orderly, peaceful and beautiful thanks to those who donate time here.

From the placing of flags on the graves of fallen soldiers at Memorial Day to holiday wreaths, ECemetery Directory LaToya Price said volunteers are vital assets in the working of the cemetery.

“We respect and value our volunteers,” she said. “They help us in so many ways as work continues to restore Oak Hill Cemetery.”

After changing hands several times — the last as a lost ante in a poker game — Oak Hill Cemetery is now in the loving hands of the North Township Trustee. By law, the township is not able to expend taxpayer dollars on cemetery upkeep and is reliant on the generosity of others to help maintain the graves and grounds. Please consider a donation to Oak Hill Cemetery today!
